I have to agree, I think Suzuki will rue the day they let Spies go. He proved how well
he adapted to the bike in the 3 outings on it this year.

MOTOGP » Capirossi eager to get back on form

Loris Capirossi is hopeful of a good result in Malaysia, but admits Suzuki could struggle with the long straights.

Especially Suzuki seems to not respect their recently works couse the only advantage which Suzuki and Kawasaki had was the pneumatic valve engine while Yamaha and Honda had struggled long long time to already finish their works on it or even build engines in that specification. For me Suzuki could be very close to Ducati/Stoner year ago just head to head if Suzuki Racing bosses would payed more attention and effort on their motogp team. Maybe Rizla sponsoring isn''t enough?

for this fact big respect goes to Kenny Roberts Jr. for his challenge in 2000.

Suzuki needs some treatment from Capirossi as 'Rossi alike'. In 2007 Yamaha was a mistake which was going nowhere and Vale knew what to do to change it. He talked with bosses, treated them harsh! Think that Hopkins could do the same and then switch to Kawasaki.

Suzuki doesn't care.

Suzuki only desires to show the flag. Adding Aoki as a wild card shows they are not really serious. CV has never shown the form that was expected of him and Loris can only muster speed in his old haunts. They will be on the team until they are pensioned off.

edward, it's not as simple as you wrote about Chris and Loris. They can't make the difference on the grid cause GSV-R doesn't make the difference as GP8 or M1 make. The effort which Suzuki puts in MotoGP is silly and fancy. As Kawasaki they have brilliant media market (see their www or adverising) but poor bike technology development and setup.

Racing is about racing not beauty adverts only....but it's USA-like point of view I guess...big money put in wrong way.

Bro the correct USA point of view is that Spies not only deserved a spot under the Rizla tent, he was the most talented available for the job. Now they have an uninspired Verm and an old on his way out the door Capi. Its not a good dynamic where racers are pushing each other and their data...I am sure Capi can lend some good advice, but he is more valuable as a development rider at this point. When is the last season that Suzuki had a young, hungry, talented rider in the paddock? Spies could have been their meal ticket, and if Yamaha Italia team can afford him, Rizla Suzuki most definently could have.

Spies was Suzuki's best chance at a world title...and they let him slip away. You can bet Yamaha will slot him into their MotoGP hierarchy in the near future.

yeah, but first Spies need to prove his talent also in WSBK.
Yes, he won AMA, yes, he has very good promising results in each of motogp race this season as wildcard rider, but he knows those tracks before, specially in US. The truth is that Spies hes self-esteem and Rizla probably wouldn't agree with the amount of money. Well, it's their decision, the future will show who went wright but sure, Yamaha knows what they do.
