At last someone beats the qualification record held since 2004 by Sebastian Porto...
Let''s see if the race lap record, held since 2004 too by Pedrosa, can be beaten as well on Sunday. Those years were pretty amazing in 250, with Porto, Pedrosa, de Puniet, Elias, Rolfo, Nieto... Next year will probably be lacklustre, with Honda and Yamaha even less interested, KTM pulling out of the category (and almost of roadracing actually) and therefore Piaggio having their own cup instead of a true world championship...

Who will be the 2009 champ now relies mainly on politics : is the group willing to have a Gilera winning or an Aprilia ? Which team/rider will get the works RSA and the trick parts ?
