Dude u are a douche bag!!! always trying to drag someone down. Hes a WC so show him some respect! Yes hes no Rossi or Casey but hes still head and shoulders above almost everyone else!

What has Chris V. won how many titles does he have? Or When was the last time Melandri won a race or got on the box? How about John Hokins or Toni Elias???? Even Colin Edwards what has he done???

Here the answer is NOTHING!!!!

The guy has been screwed by Honda and he still has made something from it. He done well all things considered.

SO put down the hateraide and keep your ugly comments to yourself. I bet if u bashed Rossi like that everyone would be on your @ss!

Wow, has it been 9 years? I like the guy, but you have to say that his strike rate has been low.

Yup, 3 wins in 9 years..........

WIN 1: 2005, Laguna Seca USA - Home track :p
WIN 2: 2006, Assen - [Colin Edwards fell off last corner, gifting nicky the win]. :-o
WIN 3: 2006, Lugana Seca USA - Home track - [Rossi & Stoner retired]. :-o

Not what you'd call evidence of being at world champion level, but never mind - he's a nice guy and I wish him all the best at Ducati.

i really thought that after the 2005 win he would kick-on and do better in terms of wins however he has won the championship by being bloody consistent in 2006 and getting good podiums. Just cant seem to conserve a tyre which i think is his weakness, still the best superbike rider turned motogp in a long while though and as said, a nice chap all round.

Your comments would carry more weight if you actually got your facts straight. That would be 3 wins in 6 years. He's actually won at least three championships (AMA Supersport, AMA Superbike, MotoGP) with a total of 38 race wins.

That's doing better than most riders in MotoGP. Even the ones who like to role in the their 125 and 250 wins as something impressive.

I guess he was the only consistent podium rider in 06, right. Was there only 3 riders racing that year, and he was the only one with a dependable motorcycle. I don't remember, must have a bad memory.

Ducman1098R,

Nick Hayden could win 3 World Championships in a row and you would still see posts from idiots like Haych and the like. They can't help it. They're natural born haters. Don't believe me? Watch them pour in now.

The Nicky Haters seem to forget that in 2006, there was tremendous parity. The bikes had all grown to be similar such that it was fair game for any rider to win a race, from Sete, Melandri, Rossi to Dani. Not to discount Rossi when his bike was best on the grid (RC211V) and don't give me that nonsense that the M1 was an underdog bike in 2004: it was very competitive. To eek out 2 wins with Rossi still on the grid and 16+ other riders capable of winning, Nicky's 2006 WC ain't something to scoff at. It's not 2007, when Casey had the best combination (a la Rossi 2002/3). Look at 2008, the M1 is now competitive, how many has Casey won? 5. How many riders have a real shot to win this year? 3? 4?

Give Nicky a break he is the most honest hard working straight talking person on a moto gp bike but as with all of them, he is up against the goat, must be like beating your head against a brick wall! Lets hope he really makes the Duke sing next year!
