Agreed. Capirossi is going nowhere fast (or should that be slow?) and looking unlikely to change. Vermeulen has shown flashes of good form but too inconsistent, perhaps that's just the bike?

As much as I like Spies, Suzuki signing him would have made little improvement to the teams overall performance. Suzuki could sign Rossi and they still won't win a championship on that pile of cr*p bike.

Kenny Roberts said it correctly in the film 'Faster' - Suzuki makes great street bikes but they can't seem to pull their heads out of their as*es when it comes to MotoGP.

I bet people said that about Yamaha in 2003...

Vermuelen is a rider who is capable on the right bike of a top 6 finish, he is not in the class of say Stoner or Rossi or even Pedrosa or Lorenzo but he has said the bike has some undesirable traits like the way it makes it's power and the bike does not like fast corners. I am not sure the bike is all bad but perhaps like Kawasaki it needs a change of team to run the bikes after all it is the team which sets the bike up. As for the Yamaha being that bad when Rossi took it over, Jeremy Burgess told a group of motorcycle enthusiasts in Australia it took 3 hours of testing to get the bike something like Rossi wanted it, see what I mean about a good team!

"By almost any measure, 2008 has been a disappointing season for Rizla Suzuki"

So they rehire Capriosi. Good thinking.

The Suzuki was only looking good last year because of the tire controversy. With all the top runners on Bridgestones they revert back looking looking like ass. That bike sucks. They needed a rider like Spies who still has the hunger and desire to achieve. Chris Vermeulen is good but only once in a while. That comes from riding around on a second rate piece of crap. It affects the way you go about things, kinda like"Why try harder when I know I am not gonna win?" I thought the first screw up was the GSV-R is totally different than any bike Suzuki has. They should have played it safe like Yamaha and built something more like their streetbike design with an inline four and similar chassis.

We all think, group of MOTOGP Fans, that DENING needs to go back to BSB where he could managed winning races. MOTOGP level isn't his soup...
Such a pitty to have lost SYKES and SPIES ....for SUZUKI
