Shame to see Guintoli go as he has some potential. I think he''s better than Elias but hopefully a good showing in BSB will give him new opportunities. It would have been nice to see him on a satellite Honda team or in WSB. I wonder why Yamaha didn''t get him on the French Yamaha WSB team as he had a good showing with the Yamaha Italy squad. I guess all their money went to pay for the Ego inflated Spies.

It is really shame to see good riders leaving motogp. Not only Guintoli but for example Nakano (why Honda signed de Angleis instead of him is big mystery for me) too. Wrong passport, maybe?

I feel sorry for Guintoli, when he rode the tech 3 Yamaha he showed promise and Ponchal said he was sorry to see him go at the end of last year but Yamaha dictate who rides the bikes (as do other manufacturers). when Guintoli tested the WSB Yamaha a month ago he was less than a second a lap slower than either Haga or Corser on a bike he had very little time on. I hope he succeeds in BSB, I think Nankano is a better rider than De Angelis but obviously his face did not fit either, lets see how ell Kalio goes on the Alice bike!
