This is typical of Ducati to dump riders they feel don't produce enough right away even when they don't give them much to work with. While I love their bikes I'm not impressed with their loyalty toward riders. But it is a business so I guess in that sense they're just cold hearted business men bent on results. You can argue all the other teams are to but the other manufacturers seem more compassionate.

Nobody apart from Stoner for whatever reason has gone any good on the Ducati's! obviously the Pramac bikes are not in the same class as the factory bikes and I think Guintoli can say he was hard done by, Ponchal who runs Tech 3 said Guintoli was a very promising rider and he was sad to be FORCED to let him go at the end of 2007, it's called politics and I think the same thing has happened to him at Pramac. hopefully he will be better away from a team which unless experiences some major changes is doomed to finish at the back of the field in 2009, good luck!

Pramacs results were so poor they may have suffered the same fate as the Konica Minolta Honda team - Poor results all season long lead to most sponsors pulling the plug. So what do you do? You bring in new riders that can bring in new sponsors with them. I bet this has something to do with the rider situation at Alice (or whatever they will be called next season).
