I thought the Ford were the new Rossi/Yamaha sponsor, with the way he drove the Focus at the Monza Rally. That says alot for Fiat and the money they have put into the team. Still it's nice to see JL standing by the sponsor. :)

You have to wonder if sponsorship within Motogp will decline with these selfish riders using products contrary the brands on their bikes. Say using Castrol in place of Motul, Gauloises in place of Camel (or vice versa depending of the time period).

I am too old.Yamaha racers were white with a red stripe and red front fender. They also sported gold tuning fork decals on the fuel tank.To top it off, people could actually buy them to race!!Imagine that, competitive racers one could actually buy?Novel-eh?Nothing like progress?G.

Call me uninspired, but I'm rather fond of Yamaha's deep blue and it is the marque's chosen hue. Think about it, Kawasaki are associated with green, Ducati with red, Suzuki with red/white/blue (were it not for Rizla), and so on. I think the presence of the blue is Yamaha's call, not so much Fiat's. Some blue should stay, since colour schemes are as much an identifier of a bike as, say, a grill design is of a car. If everyone keeps their uniqueness in this way it helps make for plenty of visual diversity on the grid. Thanks to Tech 3 we even have yellow! Case in point: No more red and white please! Ref. 4 Ducatis this year + 2 San Carlo Hondas + 2 Repsol Hondas at Valencia.

WHY do they do that?! It was NOT profanity- I said "GO" with seven exclamation points.

I like the Yamaha version- blue and white with ********* on it! I love the sentiment and the colors are attractive.

Kind of leaves Fiat out in the cold and I don't imagine they'll cough up the money then not announce it. :)

Well FIAT are Ferrari's parent company, and it be bizarre seeing Ferrari on the MotoGP grid!
The colours of the yamaha are a bit clashy, but it does not stop their performance and well done to Yamaha and Valentino Rossi on winning the title after two years of missing out!
Vale #46 is the best

Yamaha have had some good paint schemes, I guess they will leave the paint the same as it was for 07 and 08, but we can hope they will do some more one off specials. I predict/hope, one at a Spanish round, one at Mugello and one for an American round.

It will be perfect if fiat can cooperate with ducati and Valentino for the rider...that will make all Italians...the sponsor (the car), the bike and the rider...
