How come Rossi was not in a Fiat? They are his teams major sponsor. Imagine if had the same result in the Fiat? Oh thats right it's not a WRC car and one of the best in the field, so he dumps them. Maybe if he was in the Fiat, his results would have been up there with his father.

He has a habit of walking out on Sponsors. I remember when he refused to have a certain tobacco company on his bike only then to become sponsored by Camel. How about Michelin and walking out on them after a swag of world championship.

Rally would suit Rossi, where you do not race side by side and complain when people ride to hard, Elias anyone.

I have it on very good authority that Rossi plays off a three handicap and recently played and beat Andy Murray at tennis! He is the greatest and you soppy Rossi bashers just can't take it can you? In any sport someone has to be the best, and at this moment in time in moto GP it is Rossi. If he doe well in the Welsh Rally I guess all you tosspot Rossi bashers will say he had an unfair advantage of one sort or another. The only advantage he has is sheer talent. Envy is a strange emotion for fans to exhibit because non of us fans have an iota of the skills required for what our idols do, so why envy them? Fiat do not have a rally car worthy of the name, so why should Rossi drive a pile of crap?

The Rossi bashers are out in full force, making ill wishes to the 2008 WORLD CHAMP. They take every detail that seems to be out of place and make it a mountain. Hmmmm....lets make sure that everything in Valentino life has the word FIAT on it. Let's publish pictures when he dresses that he has a brand name FIAT clothing on everything. Let's make sure he has hundreds of FIAT signs and stickers replace everything in his house, such as his coffee pot, his TV, his Stereo, his camera, Eveerything, Everything, EVERYTHING!!!! MUST!!! SHOW !!! HIS!!! LOYALTY!!! TO!!! HIS!!!! SPONSORS!!!!. I think that will help solve a few problems for these ROSSI bashers. I hope.

ROSSI FOR 2009 WORLD CHAMP!!!!!

Valentino has driven a Subaru as well as a Ford rally car, he isn't committing himself to a specific brand but rather accepts what is being offered. The Subaru factory has offered him a full season as works rider for their team but he's not don racing bikes yet :) Still some seasons to go! :p

Blue Hurricane, who even bought Stoner into this debate? I know I didn't. The only 2 riders I have mentioned are Rossi and Elias. It's amazing how you groupies can turn anything around and into another Stoner bash.

Paul, it's nice that Rossi wants the best of everything and, yes he pretty much gets what he wants. Rules changes and tires come to mind, someone else mentioned the GOAT DORNA champion. I think this rings true.

Lets look at the sponsors who have poured money into the team with Sponsorship, Don't you think they deserve some loyalty as well. Why not drive a car of his sponsors like this team mate, manager and father, in place of the Ford Focus. Typical Rossi form with sponsors.

Trina,
if he does then we get to follow him for longer.

Well done Valentino you are the best.

Phew there are a few sour faced *******s on here, don't need to mention names but you know who u are.

Proper racing fans should be thinking themselves fortunate to be witessing a true legend in our era, I for one will certainly be looking back on his races, I have alot on video & will keep them for ever its well worth it.

What a man! He would have won the race easy if he hadn''t made the error. He is my hero in motorcycle racing and will be when he ends his biking career and go over to car rallying which he said he would like to do.

ehm... Barry, I think you got it mixed up. It is Stoner (the Moaner) who won the WC in Moaning in 08. No worries, I am always happy to help a fellow race fan out :) :) :)
