I presume you're a car fan who's looking to see how our boy compares to your superstars? If you knew Rossi you'd know if an overtake is possible(or sometimes seemingly not!) he'll be the one to pull it off! Your boys in their metal boxes haven't got balls half as big as the ones in a bike paddock!

Domenicali is correct that Rossi would have been good in F1 but I believe if Rossi chose to go to F1 after his contract is over with Yamaha that as long as he's healthy he could be competitive in a good F1 team like Ferrari. Rossi has the talent and once he learned the tracks and how to setup the car he'd be up there. If he got a 3 year contract I think he'd win a race or two in his first year, win more races in year 2 and by year 3 he'd be challenging for the championship.

Why can't people who want to always put G.O.A.T down shut up for once in their miserable lives? the article is about Vale and the comments made by the Ferrari racing director, Vale has a good relationship with Ferrari and drives the car for his own enjoyment, good luck to him I say and I agree he probably would have been a good formula 1 driver had he been lucky enough to get into a good team, Vale is obviously a "natural" when it comes to riding or driving fast, it is also something he genuinely seems to love, according to people in the know he is a reasonable person ( by sporting standards) with a great "showmans skills" something that people with the "jolly green giant" cant stand.

I didn't say you were a Rossi hater, in fact I didn't say anyone was! Lol.
I've ridden bikes competitively and driven cars competitively and, for me at least, overtaking on the bikes takes much more forethought and guts to pull off, than a similar move in a car(this includes open wheel carts). A car is a big lump of a thing and the person you're overtaking can see it coming easily, if they turn in on you it's not such a problem, you just bang together and carry on(tin tops, obviously open wheel tend to be more carefull!). That happens on the bike and your down, and probably tangled in each others bikes!
