Just goes to show that AP has massivley damaged Danni persona.

His performace is unquestioned this year but he needs to drop AP as he is a complete toss pot of epic proportions and will kill danni''s carrer for sure if he is allowed to continue.. I don''t know why Honda don''t just sack him

the 10 riders on the shortlist were the top 7 in teh championship, the 2 other rookies and the non-rookie outside of the top seven with the best race result (elias).

I make that to mean that the riders still to come are: rossi, stoner, lorenzo, dovi and hayden.

Dani is 6th I would call this result as outrageous

those chaps who defended JT's seventh in the rankings yesterday now have to justify why DP is only a little bit better than JT. that's hard work.

Thats a weird one alright i think i placed him 4th in mine with lorenzo beating him to 3rd because of his impressive rookie season. When you break things down you see that dani had his best year in motogp really. I dont mind Dani at all i just think he hasn't shown the talent and racecraft that he did in 250's yet.

Looks like some of the 'high and mighty' on this forum just found out they are completely out of touch with what most fans think.

Are you really that surprised Pedrosa is 6th? Red carpet treatment by Honda, a bike built around him and he's only won 2 races a year for the last 3 years.

The best thing Pedrosa has going for him is his results and they were only good enough for 3rd in 2008. Then drop him down a few more places for zero personality, a lack of overtaking skill and his 'friendly' manager and 5th or 6th in a star vote isn't surprising.

How many Pedrosa fans do you see outside Spain?
