Belly wrote "shave a tenth off poor hopless old westys 08 race best lap."

the typo holds the truth.. Kawasaki would be better off "hopless" Should have kept West & given Hopkins the boot, along with the engineering & management staff

The way to go is to Hire the Rider and the Engineer as a Team. That was the only way Yamaha became Number 1 and Honda has slipped. The Team of Valentino Rossi and Jeremy Burgess together turned Yamaha around. The rest of the team VR and JB brought along was a bonus that they could get to work immediately and the Yamaha Engineers were willing to listen to their suggestions was what made it work.

Kawasaki and Suzuki need to look at Hiring Engineers as useful as Riders. I would have hired the team from the retiring Troy Bayliss Pit Crew. If Kawasaki had done that maybe it will make the Suzuki Team Green with Envy. Now its just a Disgusting Green Churning out useless Riders

despite what they say, Vermulelen, Capirex, Hopper and Melandri are just doing it for the bucks, why else would anyone ride such garbage bikes, nobody in their right minds would believe that these bikes are capable of anything more than a flukey top 5 finish.

if i remember correctly the temp doesn't mean much in Victoria.
a local once told me that if you don't like the weather in Victoria just wait 30 min..
its up to track temp win speed surface condition and many more.
if Cpirex says the new bike is better then last years one and that they mad good progress i believe him.
what can i say I'm a fan!!!

I don't think it is fair to slag off the riders, Hopkins is very fast but tends to crash, Vermulen, rumours have it was offered the Xerox Ducati WSB ride but wanted to stay in moto gp so obviously Xerox think he is good although I think in moto gp he is not a top 4 finisher, Capirossi is at the end of his career but still fast, Melandri should have gone to Gresini, West is a very good rider who was let down by the Krapasaki, Suzuki I believe have a chance of "coming right", Krapasaki will always be at the tail of the field without team and bike development changes.

Hopkins will be gone after 09'.

Suzuki should have put Spies on the team, I believe he would out perform the current riders in short order. Big mistake to let him go. :?
