Was reading an interview with Colin in MCN... Boy is he bitter about the switch! Perhaps understandably so, but will this new "Genius" help him improve his results? We''ll see... Colin''s one of my favourite riders and a great guy, but even I reckon it is bout time he moved on...

I didn't read the interview in MCN but I hear Colin is an awesome development rider. I think thats why Yamaha keeps him around. Its often that stuff that goes on behind the behind the scenes that we don't see that helps the team out in the end.

I am glad that colin is happy with guy coulon as although I support James Toseland it certainly doesn't appear to be the right way to go about changing mechanics. So I hope that both Colin and james benefit from this saga.and that james doesn't end up with egg on his face

nice to see that colin is happy but it could be the start of the mind games.it's a shame tose and col have fallen out but i hope they can work it out there's to many riders in the same teams who dont speak as it is.it's not good for any future development when there's no exchange's verbally between rider's.apart from the negative one's

Well, Colin said that due to the switch, JT would have to podium to justify the push he was receiving from YRC and T3.

Then after 6 years in MotoGP with some podiums, surely Colin MUST WIN with his "borderline genius" crew chief, no?

Oh Texas windbag, you old dog you.

Instead of worrying about JT, Colin should worry about what Spies or Sykes can do in WSBK.

That Toseland is an ungrateful *******. I do remember Coin showing him around many circuits when he first came aboard.

Yeah showing him around to fifth place, i can undestand colin being miffed but he HAS to justify his position JT already outperformed in his first year.

JT needs to get some podiums this year atleast, Colin Needs a win otherwise it has been 7 years in the big class alot on factory machinery and nothing. I like colin but i have grown really bored of his constant 'Magic setting' Fast on Monday edwards needs to push his week back a day or this wil be his last in GP's Spies will take that ride next year without question.

I can't blame Colin for being a little mad about the switch which to my understanding happen behind his back without his input. James certainly has to make good with results after this.

But I wonder how much trust does Colin have in Tech 3 after the switch? Maybe he'll gel with his new guy and move on. But will he be forth coming with the data to James like the past?

I can't see Edwards being anymore than an average rider in MotoGP, he is in an altogether different league to the likes of Rossi, Pedrosa, Stoner etc. Toseland obviously felt as though he was being held back by his crew chief and only those within the team will actually know the real story. I too am bored with his constant excuses for not being at the sharp end, the one chance he has had for a win he chucked away. His last year I feel and he will retire without a win under his belt.
