JT has obviously found an excuse for his poor performance this year...
He had better outperform Colin next year or he should be out from MotoGP in 2010 and take his team politics along with him....and Simoncelli will take his place!
Never heard of teams changing crew chiefs around without prior consultation with BOTH riders!

Some say Casey is a moaner, while I will say Edwards is an "excuser". 7 years in Moto GP, both on Honda and Yamaha, among others on the factory M1, still no wins and lots of excuses. Edwards should go to AMA and earn lots of money for little effort, because he will not be a title contender in MotoGP or WSBK. WSBK is far to aggressive these days, and there are lots of fast riders who do want to win AND will try hard to win. Edwards strongest side these days is keeping the wheels on the ground and the paint without damage.

Good Show by Colin Edwards at the Jerez Test sessions to conclude the 2008 season. Poor James Toseland was left sucking Colin's exhaust fumes as he came in Session 1 in 6th spot whereas Colin was up in 4th. Session 2 was even worse for JT as Colin was 8th and James was 12th. Looking forward for James to be uncermoniously dumped by Yamaha eventually. Colin is a far more valuable to Yamaha even after Racing and I feel that Rossi would rather have him around than JT. Remember that Rossi did not think much for JT's chanches when he came to Yamaha. He said that he should have stayed where he was and try to continue winning there.

Why all the negativity about JT on this forum all of a sudden - what has he done? slept with your mums?

Gary Reynders approached JT and Herve because he knows Colin is close to retirement and he wants to keep working beyomd 2009. JT had said to Herve that he would like to work with Gary because the relationship with Guy wasn't working well, with the reult that they sometimes went the wrong way with the setup. JT didn't get a chance to discuss this face to face with Colin although I am sure Herve must have discussed the switch with Colin. Regardless judging by one test so far Colin is happy with Guy and JT got worse on day 2. I don't wish any of them out - I wish them all good luck.

On day 2 of the Jerez test Toseland was not 12th there was a fault with timing. Most sites have corrected this. So he didn't do as badly as it seemed. He was still behind Colin I think he was 9th he did a 1"40.7, and I'm sure in a race situation JT is more likely to pass Colin than Colin is to stay infront. Don't get me wrong I like Colin but he seems to go in reverse come Sunday.

Psychological rhetoric on Colin's part in my opinion, his nose is out of joint following the switch and this is just a jibe back at JT, looks like its going to be a war of words in the Tech 3 camp next season. My monies on Colin to win that one, but JT will be top dog of the two on the track

Aegis please tell me where in 2008 that JT handed it to Colin that it was memorable. How you came up with the assumption that JT is top dog is beyond me. I hope it is not with that one outing that he give Valentino some competition for a few laps until VR put him away.
