UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Rossi is now in 16th position, ahead of some of the regular WRC guys and only three positions behind Hirvonen, who obviously rolled his car but still it's an amazing performance.

There's no doubt that Rossi could quite easily compete at WRC level and finish in the top five at the end of the season, possibly even win an event after intensive testing and getting to know the car.

The guy is a superstar, what Formula One driver could do that? They'd be too concerned about getting their sunglasses dirty or messing their pretty boy hair, GO VALENTINO GO GO GO!

It''s absolutely normal that he is not so fast as professionals. Try to drive your car on ice or a dirty track... It''s just a lack of experience.

The mans a legend. I was at Sweet Lamb yeterday and he came down the hill and into the finish area just like one of the top flight drivers. I hope he can finish the whole rally in a decent postion. Heres my prediction for his future:- He will retire from MotoGP at the end of either the 2009 or 2010 season and by 2015, he will be World Rally Champion. I base this on the knowledge that he refers to Rallying as his first love and the fact that if he decides to do something, he will give 100%. He never gives up.
