I think he finished 12th in the end, cause i don't see the guy, that was in 12th (Patrik SANDELL), in the time sheet of the last stage. He probably cracked under the presure from Vale :P, and did something stupid on the final stage.

You cannot take that achievement away, well done Vale. Maybe Red Bull Air Race next?

He is in 13th place, with 33 seconds to the next placed pilot, with one more stage to go.
And in the last stage he is 11th, and 42.5 seconds off Loeb, who is first. But there are other pilots still to compete.
What can i say... very nice performance !!
Congrats to Vale and to Leob who won it in the end !!

I have no ther way of following the rally, so the coverage on here has been great as I'm not a regular WRC fan. Big thanks crash. :D

Just heard on the radio(I know, but coverage sucks over here), that Rossi is now up to 14th. Seriously impressive. He's also paying tribute to Colin McRae, which speaks volumes about the guy. I would guess at 2 more years in motogp to equal or better Ago's records, then a switch to full time rallying. He may struggle with the early starts though...

Just heared on WRC race radio that Valentino has been given ''the spirit of the rally award'' by the organisers in respect of his very impressive efforts on a very difficult rally in conditions he has never encountered before....it would seem that he has earned big respect from the rallying fraterity. He won''t make the top 10 but not far off....I''m not into this fan worship thing that leads others to blind obsession but the guy is a true legend! I suspect that full time rallying will be his future beyond Motogp if he enjoys it as much as he seems to. Fiat will have a WRC car ready to coincide with his Yamaha contract end.

WTF... another one who doesn't understand.

I will write it as clearly as possible because many of you so often demonstrate that you struggle with your reading and understanding.

There. Is. Nothing. Else. Going. On... Rossi. Is. The. Only. Rider. Doing. Anything...

Its not taking up valuable news space because there is shag all else to report on! Signings are pretty much all confirmed, no one is competing in anything else, all surgery has been completed successfully, no testing at the moment... if you don't want to read it then don't click the link. Simple.

A very seriously fine performance from Rossi: his effort last year in the Rally NZ was damn good but this is something really special, I think. Even if he doesn't crack top 10 - which would be close to a miracle - just to get where he is is pretty damn amazing.
