Nothing wrong with some healthy competition now is there?...He's shown he's still the man to beat in motogp...so he's got more right than anyone else to be there..

GO ROSSI!

I'd like to see him on a super bike once he has achieved his own personal goal in moto gp,do hope he can achieve that this year so he can set more records in a different class, and when that is done he can then try his hand at the WRC.

He is pure class and i don't mind admitting that he is my hero of all hero's

he was a natural in the icy conditions
a bit over enthusiastic on some corners but
a bit qiucker than some regular drivers
fiat should hurry up with a competitive car for him to drive full time

I believe that Rossi will be in Motogp until 2012 as he had previously said in Italian magazine MotoSprint. Below is an excert:
"In a recent interview with the Italian magazine MotoSprint, Rossi put an end to that speculation, claiming that he is likely to stay in MotoGP for another 5 years, which could see The Doctor remaining in MotoGP until 2012. Those 5 years are not definite, however, as Rossi has said in earlier interviews that the age he is likely to retire at is around 31, which would mean 3 more seasons in MotoGP for the 28 year old."
:D :D :D :D

With the 2008 WC under his belt, I hope to see 2009 WC with his name on it too. Then maybe a ride with the Ducati in 2010.

He may do what Freddy Spenncer did. Spencer did testing and racing for Cagiva at the end of his career. When asked why he was riding an inferior bike he said he that the sport had been very good to him and wated to give some thing back to it. Stoner is running a 125 team in aus to ensure new young riders get a chance, its in the same vein.

Cagiva was owned by the Castiglione brothers, they spent millions on good riders to ride their bike, it was not a filantropic venture. Randy Mamola ended his career there, Eddie Lawson, John Kocinski, who got it up to 3rd in the championship. A great way to get some extra money for a rainy day. Freddie Spencer ended his career with two injury marred seasons on a Yamaha.

valentino will suceed in what ever he does he is a true champion. i myself feel priveliged to have grown up watching his progress to becoming a true legend and king of all time motor cycleing greats. and all this he achived with great humor and always a smile on his face.
it will be a very sad day when he leaves moto gp but if he does continue in to rallying i hope the fans will love and respect him as we do.
there is no doubt in my mind that he is not just the best ever on a bike but proberly one of the worlds greatest sports man eva.
respect to you valentino rossi.
