Last season, I can only think of one motogp race that really had me on the edge of my seat - Laguna. But when I think of the WSBK season, there were many races that had me bouncing up and down. I don't really care if the Motogp bikes go a little bit faster, for me, the thrill is to watch bikes going hammer and tongs and swapping places on a regular basis!!

I'm not, it was all over crash and other sites. He gave a few choices and let his fan's decide. Apperently new number to go with a new start. He has changed management I believe. 99 a cool number.

He could have chosen #96, still readable when the bike is upside down in the sandtrap (like Nicky Hayden's number) :p

Strange, I don't remember the contest being mentioned here on Crash. Not saying it wasn't, I can't remember everything! I like # 48 better.

Pedrosa switched to 3 this year.

Agreed I found it odd that Lorenzo changed his number and don't recall the story either.

Nevertheless, I think the top five will be Rossi, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Stoner and Dovisioso. The others are just fillers with an occasional surprise during a wet race.

Yup I remember the article where he left it up to his fans to decide which number he was going to run, I think he narrowed it down to his favorites and then he let them vote. I rather pick my own # and have the fans pick my helmet scheme tho, imo
