Yeah Vale had is **** handed to him by one person, Stoner and look how Vale responded, Had Michelin booted out of competition, try'd to have a bunch of anti Ducati rules imposed, dangerously out of control race at Luguna, if he had of won without being out of control and theatening to take Stoner with him, it would have been a ride worthy of respect, instead he went the Schumaker route and went for the take out.
Vale is busted cheating his country and its people loses respect and most of the support of his home, Rossi launches a media blitz to gain back support, Loses a popularity contest to BAYLISSIMO and chucks ANOTHER hissy fit and demands to race Baylyss, His ego is OFF the chart.

MOTOGP » Rossi vs Bayliss in Qatar?

Valentino Rossi and Troy Bayliss could take on one another in a Superbike race at Qatar, reports suggest.

They should go head to head...like a match race in horse racing.....Rossi has everything to lose here and nothing to gain..I think he should worry more about Stoner than pick on Bayliss in WSBK but he wouldn''t be Rossi if he was shy or timid...........

Are we ever going to see any actual quotes from VR on this ? 'Reports' in various tabloid Mediterranean bike mags are not exactly reliable. I think it also says something about the lack of excitement with motogp that this story is causing any interest at all.

This would mean Rossi would have to ride on Pirelli. Even Michelins have more grip than the Pirelli's! With Rossi used to having grip with Bridgestone it would be very interesting indeed.

Please, let them race in a WSBK race as wild cards. Then it will not only be about bayliss and rossi. Maybe good old max biaggi can join in the battle also. Would be epic. Ohw and throw in a little michael schumacher to settle all the talk about rossi vs schumi...

A few weeks back there was an interview/quotes with Rossi on GPone.com (I think that's the right site, it's an Italian site). He didn't mention being upset about the award, he just said something like 'for sure it would be fun to battle bayliss on SBK, I hope he will come back for one race' or some such if I remember right. I'll try to find the link.

What a garbage story, an official press release from Yamaha dismissed this as nonsense a few weeks ago. We're just dragging up the same story over and over again....

Something's boiling in the pot because Carmelo Ezpeleta in a interview in gpone has said that he's not against it and would like to see Rossi win.

"....something that is set to be reinforced in 2009 by the fact that 31 riders are already confirmed to the Superbike grid, compared to 19 for MotoGP"

what bull****....

is it like going to the movies for this film or that? or is it like all WSBK riders were offered a motogp ride but most of them preferred WSBK over motogp because it is more fun over there?

I hope it is going to happen :) not a one-on-one though but both competing in a round of the championship,
with the whole grid present. Would love to see Rossi locking horns with Biaggi again :p

Go Vale!! :) :)
