Bayless couldn't carry Rossi's jock strap with a suitcase... He couldn't beat Edwards when he was in superbike and now he's going to beat or challeng Rossi :?

I was going to say he should have stayed at Suzuki. But maybe they will be next?? For the sake of the sport I hope not...

Sorry for Hopkins, but it it cost so much, why not put together MotoGP and WSB. We can see the battle of Vale and Bayliss.

I really hope they stay in Moto GP but the tone of Hopper's statement doesn't seem very optimistic. Both Hopper & Melandri are world class racers but I wouldn't let either of them pick my lottery numbers, they are both very unlucky in the decision making department. Fingers crossed for them.

Pandaman - Not sure if you have been watching but Bayliss retired so a Rossi vs Bayliss WSBK race is a little unlikely.

Apologies for this update but it would appear there definitely won't be any Kawasakis on next years grid - apparently it was confirmed by Kawasaki to Hopkins / Melandri on the 29th of December according to MCN (see their website)

Pdoney the very reason Hopkins said anything is because MCN spouted a load of sh|t that hopkins didn't say.

MCN is the very last place to read and believe!

Battle of Vale vs Bayliss? Are you forgetting that Bayliss was in MotoGP for a few years (and the one off return where he won his first and only MotoGP race?)?

Daz, Pandaman is talking about Vale vs. Bayliss on Superbikes, not MotoGP.

Report on Autosport that Aspar are already talking to Dorna about buying the 2 Kawasaki's for a new team.

Don't know how good it will be in the long term without manufacturer support.

Interesting comment from Mr Hopkins given that he has spoken to the Media.....

He returned a call to John Ulrich of roadracingworld.com

His reaction though reminds me of Randy Mamola when Suzuki pulled the plug on him in 1984....
