No massive loss to lose the Hopper really as he has done nothing since coming into the series and only there because of the big sponsorship money.

Melandri however has scored good points in previous seasons ( not last ye****) and still has a future in motogp.

Wonder who aspar will get to ride the bikes if he eventually takes over the Kwaks??

And the happiest person in the WSS paddock has got to be Ant West, now I'm glad he got dumped. Just watch him do a "told you I could ride" this year.

KR jnr always outperformed hopper at suzuki, podiums here and there, hopper nada nothing.
vermuelen in his rookie season with suzuki got a podium, hopper still nada.
In hopper's so called "successful" season, vermuelen equaled his podiums and got a win.
Developed the suzuki into a winning bike my ass, hopper was no loss there. Five years without a single podium :? and yet some people believe he could take the championship :?

Rumours....rumours....rumours............
The next is from Honda(following their F1 pull out)and Suzuki(following their pull out from WRC an now World MotoCross Champ.)
Result: Bye bye to MotoGP(I hope I'm wrong!).
Dorna will no doubt be very unhappy.....who cares. They have creamed too much already(IMO), the greedy SOB's! No wonder some manufacturers find it tough to be there all the time. I bet that they(Dorna)have not reduced their fees to help !!
At the end of the day it's only all about money...nothing else !

Baja, SPOT ON!

Hopper is no favourite of mine. In the end he stabbed Kenny in the back to take Suzuki's no.1 spot claiming that he knew the way forward and Kenny didn't. All he did was take a pretty good bike backwards with poor results and when Suzuki take onboard Chris V, they listened to him instead of Hopper and the results got better. Hopper threw Teddy from the pram and went to Kawasaki for big money. Was it Hoppers input that made the Kawasaki the hedge finder? The huge crashes were mainly 2008 with the green beast and who was leading development?

Hopper should never of left Suzuki and only did it becasue of the money! Now after a year of bad luck on the track it looks like he's going to be spending it on banking/stands with the rest of us.
It will be a great shame to loose either of these riders of any of the bikes off the grid.

Hopper left Suzuki for money...Monster paid more than RedBull, and they have a strong tie to Kawi.
Hopper's hype came from Faster the movie...had he had a decent ride early on, he might have done something. But now it's too much about the money and sponsorship, and for him that means being stuck with Kawi at any level...
I agree Hopper shouldn't have left Suzuki, unless it was to go to a better bike. I think the kid had potential...but I think his time is over in MotoGP.
