I met Nicky when he was 18 or so. Came off as a real nice kid. Not one bit pretentious. Hope he has a great year with Ducati. Agree with the cap comment.

All these pre-season opinions mean nuttin'. All this is just a noise made up by media to fill empty pages off-season.

Who is the media going to blame if he doesn't start winning this year? Stoner? Pedrosa?

I think this story is one of the best I have ever read concerning the Kentucky Kid. This story shuts the door on those who have been spreading the rumors that Nicky would not like his new leathers, or did not "look good" in Ducati winter clothing. I would like to suggest future stories such as: Nicky's favorite foods, favorite movies, what does he do with his free time, if he were an animal, what animal would he be? Being such a GIANT fan of Nicky Hayden I would really like to know EVERYTHING about him!

By the way, does anyone know if Nicky is still racing motorcycles?

Good on him! I think Nicky will get on with the Desmo just fine and will be top 5 consistently.
