The people suggesting a honda ride make me laugh.
Anyone in the right mind knows the honda is a piece of garbage.
How much was it, like a year without a win?
Do you think honda all of a sudden are going to change their arrogant ways to give Lorenzo a top bike? LOL.
These are the same people that let Rossi go to yamaha because they thought they were the center of the universe.
They are extremely arrogant, keep making stupid decisions, don't listen to rider input (yes including DP) and have been chasing their tail for enough time to make any rider with a championship aspiration stay away from them.
Unless JL is after the fat paycheck ( I sure hope not) honda is a no no. Honda sucks big time

Elias is one of the many affected riders by the stupid 800cc rule. He brought excitement to the 990cc class together with others which today are only running midpack. Not my favorite but a good rider. Unfortunately not everyone is fit to ride an 800cc computer to the limit but on the 990s there were plenty of riders sliding like crazy and making me proud to be an avid motorcycle racing fan. I can't wait till the 1000s are back. Unfortunately riders like Melandri, Edwards, Elias and others might be retired by then.

Wish James a lot of luck in SBK. That said Rea, Crutchlow, Haga, Fabrizio, Haslam, Guintoli, Neuk, Biaggi (YES BIAGGI) and Camier are not painted on the wall, they're real and friggin' fast.

Burguess must be trying to play mind games with Lorenzo. He knows too well how fast Lorenzo is and should not guess his abilities to develop because after all Lorenzo is a world champion. Just because his chief isn't Burguess doesn't mean anything because Stoner has a different chief and since he came back he has beaten Rossi and the rest at every round. Yamaha, please grow some cojones and tell Rossi to go elsewhere or to ducati so italians can finally stfu. Stoner will be fast on the Honda w/the right support. You got the best developer(CE) and 2 future (like in young) stars in Lorenzo and Spies. I like Rossi but this chicken talk is getting me tired.

Unless yamaha throw some bones with some meat left to him we can only expect him to match or beat Edwards. Obviously he read his contract unlike some posters in the web and knows the limitations adhered to it. We all Spies supporters with our feet on the ground know Tech3 is not a factory outfit regardless of how cute the bikes look.

Yamaha R1 2009 almost 100% world domination... 2009 WSBK champion 2009 German Superbike champion 2009 BSB champion 2009 French Superbike champion 2009 FIM World Endurance champion AMA-DMG doesn't count since they think they're smarter than the rest of the world and come up with enough stupid rules to become the laughing stock in the racing world. Any rider using this bike in 2010 is gonna be watched with a magnifiying glass specially the factory team.

"I reckon he's made a deal with Kawasaki that if he can develop the ZX10 and win the WSB championship, they (with CV) will re-enter MotoGP" Hey monster, Do you have a link for this? I agree with all posters about Suzuki blowing big time. Their reverse gear is the best thou. :D

I really hope Camier gets this ride. And I'll be sad if Parkes and Shakey don't land a decent ride. Aprilia needs to supply those 2 extra bikes even if it means a privateer effort. Their totally different bikes add a lot of spice to an already deep field. If Parkes doesn't land a decent ride in SBK I'll be happy to see him go to either SS with Lascorz or in BSB with a factory effort.

All Kawasaki needs to do is achieve 80% of what the WSS team achieved in the first 5 rounds and that'll be a mayor jump. As soon as Kawa keeps feeding them with the proper support and updates they'll do fine. Sykes and Vermuelen could actually have an excellent season with the familiar firing order of the Kawa. Best of luck to both.
