Let's hope that first Casey gets better and secondly that he will continue to make the title fight interesting. And let's hope the "fans" lay off the "oh he's faking it" BS.

There is an article on Speedtv.com by Dennis Noyes who totall y rips Aprilia for leaving teams high and dry at the last minute. Oh, and he says their chassis is at least "three times" the price of others. Typical Aprilia and people are wondering why I don't care if they go. "Aprilia were offering their as yet unseen and untested Moto2 frame for upwards of $250,000, at least three times the price currently being paid for rolling chassis that are already being tested and, in some cases (in Japan and Spain), already being raced."

"if yamaha ktm honda didnt pull out of 250 aprilia wouldnt have been the only one... and anyway the opened everybody asses anyway! on 2 strokes there are no contenders to aprilia" berio First of all you dumb f'k if Aprilia was any good at 2 strokes they wouldn't have gotten their asses handed to them by the Japs in 500s and ran out of the Premier class back to the junior formulas. And it seems to me they got whipped this year by a bike a couple of years old. So who is it that don't have a clue? And no where do you read that I'm not a fan of 2 strokes. Aprilia priced themselves out of the market so no I don't care for them.

Did I say that it was Aprilia's fault that they had a monopoly? Where do any of you see that? But it is not their fault what they did with the monoply ? They are the ones who charged multi-million dollars to lease bikes - is that not correct? There is such a thing call the economy of scales where the more you produce the less it should cost. Aprilia never heard of such I assume...... Are they not they ones who decided who got the "good" engines and who did not? So cry not for Aprilia - they are the ones who caused unfair competiton in what is bascially a feeder series. F'k 'em once again.

Screw 'em and good ridence. They are they ones who were charging millions of dollars to lease old 2-stroke technology and deciding who had a chance to win or not. I'm glad they didn't win the last 250 riders title. Moto2 will have more teams, rider, and more constructors which will be much more interesting.

There is a good article about the new 1000cc rules that I just read on speedtv.com by veteran MotoGP journalist Dennis Noyes.

MotoGP has put itself into a position like F1 where the manufactures have the series by the nuts. Look at F1 with BMW, Honda, and Toyota and maybe Renault pulling the plug and leaving the grid short. MotoGP has already lost Team Roberts and Scot Honda to cost and Kawasaki just left. Now the manufactures are not leasing a good number of bikes at a price that is viable for an independent team. So something has to be done to not only increase grid size but also not be so dependent on the manufactures for bikes and teams. Even F1 has now reached out to independents and have signed up some new teams (but it remains to be seen if they will be ready).
