There once was a rookie named Spies,
who brought the Superbike paddock to their knees.
he brought the Super Bike Champ
To the Yamaha camp,
And then went off to race MotoGP's!

Ben didn't give up when he was 88 points behind Haga. He didn't lose his spirits when he ran out of fuel while leading, when his shift linkage broke, when his clutch was slipping, when he had an electronically limited power problem in the first three gears, and when he was taken out by Fabrizio. Maybe if he'd have won another half dozen races he'd be getting some better props out here(kidding) :). He sure made the season exciting and memorable! Then two weeks later he hops on an M1 and gets 7th place in MotoGP.

Which 250 rookie will succeed in 2010? None! What is the standard by which they will be measured?? Does succeed mean a podium in 2010? Does it mean who rides so agressively that they take other riders out? Does it mean who has the most points at the end of the season? Seamongelli has already proven he can take riders out... Who will be rookie of the year? BEN SPIES

Hookem, at Imola Spies caught Biaggi and Seamongelli and was stalking them when, by Seamon's own admission, he 'missed his braking point' and punted Max into Ben. Let the delusional fools who want to believe Seamon beat Spies fair and square continue to live in their pea-sized version of reality. Seamon rides over his head, just look at his performance last Sunday, going for a gravel ride while leading. Not to mention him pushing Aoyama wide trying to crowd him off the track earlier in the race. It will be interesting how much of that nonsense the MotoGP boys allow next year.

I'm amazed that Spies today is less than three tenths of a second off Stoner's time from Monday. Tech 3 vs the 2010 Ducati?

Aeolus, don't you remember? JT had to adapt back to the MotoGP bike after testing Spies' former WSBK...

Well done Big Ben! To think that as of last Friday you just got on a Yam MotoGP bike and were running in 15th place. Now to get up to 4th quickest with much more to learn, outstanding! Way to do the Texas Two Step! P.S. Please bring back the Sterlingarda bike - those Tech 3 colors just don't go with your RWB helmet! I wonder what they did with the three proto's they said they were flying over for last weekend's races...

Spies posted a time over a half second quicker today in testing than in the race yesterday... on Toseland's old Tech 3 ride. Yeah, must have been the bike yesterday. LOL!
