LOL. Some of you guys are just brutal. So what if he goes to Carrot Tops barber and his leathers give him that hour glass figure women want. I suspect Spies and Simoncelli will be at the front of the rookie pack. Being a Texan and a Ben Spies fan I hope he does well. I personally would be shocked if Ben or Marcos get on the podium. If either one of them does I hope it is by qualifing well and racing their way up there. Not because of some big wreck or a wet race or because they ran a bunch of people off the track. Simoncelli has a bright future in MotoGP in my opinion. He just like Spies and the rest of the rookies have a long way to go. A very long way.

LOL..."torpedo clown" For Marcos to be sucessful in MotoGP he will have to stop throwing the bike down and punting people around. Instead of doing the punting he will become the punted real quick. And instead of being the torpedo will be the torpedoed. Them boys in MotoGP aint gonna stand for any 250 hooligan racing tactics. If he does not, then besides seeing how well he does being the one getting run off into the gravel traps and punted down, around and off the track. We may very well see what kind of pugilistic skills he possesses.

What a mess. Take a perfect platform for developing new talent and giving a chance for some kid who is rocket ship fast a chance to go racing and turn it into a money hole that your average privateer has no chance of competing in. Dorna needs help. I say we do a forced intervention and get those guys into rehab ASAP. They must be high. Only reason they could justify some of their decision making. Amy aint got nothing on Dorna. Man I would hate to endure the hangover both them boys are going to have to deal with.

I was reading the thing on this Bradley kid and was wondering what it cost to lease a 125 from Aprilia. I have no idea if the 125's are leased or they just sell them and let the riders team wrench on the bikes. Anybody ???

LOL @ Dorna. The WSBK Superbike Series is attracting all kinds of riders, sponsors and seeing the paddock numbers swell with top flight racers. Not to mention an explosion of intrest and new fans coming on board. I know me and my buddies did not watch a single AMA race in 2009. We all followed ever race in WSBK. WSBK is now the best racing series on the planet if you want to see some real racing. AMA is trying to buy back the SuperBike series. Or so the rumor control mill has it. Seems all the AMA members are none to happy. Dorna and the AMA. What a mess.

Yeah crash.net messed up with the title. You think you are voting on who the top rider was for 2009. Then you get into it and find yourself rating 22 different riders and how you rate them for the year. Probably why crash has not posted and results. I know about half way through I was going to stop. But they did provide some good information about guys I have not followed that closely. Bet they can not make heads or tails out of the poll results.

I have never really followed the 250 class except to see what young guns are coming up through the class and which riders would be moving to MotoGP. Now after doing some reading it would seem that once again a majority of the blame for this mess can be placed right on the door step of Dorna. You can buy a really nice Yamaha or Honda 250 with all kinds of spares ready to hit the track for 15,000 thousand dollars and go racing. A nice one. Ohlins suspension, Bremo brakes, super trick motor, extra wheels, race glass, the works. Absolutley no place for 1.5 million dollar leased bikes per year in a feeder class. Just plain ole regular stupid.
