Why didn't they continue it on the red button then??? BBC you bunch of nobbers!!!

Let Eurosport have it back - I pay the licence fee for the BBC, I pay Virgin Media to get Eurosport and I can't watch FULL LIVE COVERAGE of MotoGP on EITHER OF THEM!!!

Hi RobertJones, let's hope Moto2 produces some interesting racing but commercially I can't see how it will be a success without other branded motorcycle makers coming on board with their own engines. Effectively it's the Honda CBR 600 cup. What we might be able to hope for down the track is the existing 800cc MotoGP bikes being downsized to some sort of 600cc Moto2 class, when MotoGP goes big-bore (1000cc proddy or proto) again.

Seems fairly clear that Aprilia have done this to try to kneecap Moto2 or force concessions.

Would be great if Toby and Jules could do their commentary as a live webcast while they watch the BBC TV broadcast. I could turn the volume down on my telly, turn it up on the computer, and I'd be happy!

Just can't see how a 'control engine' for Moto2 is a good idea. They should have offered a control engine but also let manufacturers bring their own if built within certain specs. Aprilia has been a big player in the previous class and obviously had money ready to spend on Moto2 so whether you liked them or not it's a loss to MotoGP and Moto2 to see Aprilia walk away. Akin to Kawasaki walking away from MotoGP - Dorna just can't afford to let these things happen.

"However - criticisms of Vale are probably best kept to GP topics - More so than this event !! - That's where he lives or dies!!!" Cheers Robert Jones - if you can actually find any criticism in my posts on this thread pls let me know. Perhaps you misunderstand the phrase "fair play to Rossi"?

Oh I get it. "If you can't say something nice (about Rossi) then don't say anything!"

Oh bloody hell this is the problem with MotoGP in the off-season - all these peripheral non-stories we have to put up with, like Rossi running third in a car race most of us have never heard of. Fair play to Rossi but I can't get through the next few months on this sort of material!!!

The more you think about it, the more you can see Dorna is in a state of panic. How many rule tweaks in the last 2 years? To those who mentioned GPS-linked ECUs - they are banned as of next season as I understand it.

OR OR OR they could let the teams choose: an 800cc full prototype engine, or a 1000cc production-based. Mix things up a bit. Similar idea to SBK where engine size varies according to number of cylinders.
