Marsoin back at Comtec

Alexandre Marsoin is to make his belated debut for the Comtec Racing team in the latest round of the World Series by Renault at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Frenchman was signed by the Norfolk-based team long before the start of the season, but didn't appear with them during testing and was missing from the entry list at the Barcelona curtain raiser.

Nonetheless, the former Epsilon Euskadi driver will return to the series in Belgium, replacing stand-in Harald Schlegelmilch.

Elsewhere, Tobias Hegewald will make his World Series debut for the Interwetten Racing team. The German will race full-time in the inaugural Formula 2 Championship this season, but has been given the opportunity by Interwetten, who act as one of his personal backers.
