Kelly Racing has revealed that it will boast one of the most experienced and decorated driver line-ups in the V8 Supercar field in 2010 with the addition of Jason Bargwanna to its roster. 



Bargwanna will move over from Tasman Motorsport, which announced it was to quit the sport prior to the BigPond 300 in Perth.

The 37-year-old will join Rick and Todd Kelly in the Kelly Racing line-up, giving the team a line-up featuring three drivers to have secured victory in the famed Bathurst 1000.

“This is great news for Kelly Racing,” said Todd Kelly. 
“All the boys are really excited about Bargs joining us next year and they can't wait. 



“It's fantastic for Rick and I to have a driver to push us along and put us under pressure. There will be things that we can learn from him and it will be great to have another car up the front.”

Bargwanna himself said he was delighted to secure a drive with the team for the 2010 campaign.

“From the outset I've always focused on the fact that I want to be in a competitive opportunity and I really respect what Todd, Rick and the whole team are putting together,” he said. 
“I think that if you look at the team's that are on the up and up, this is certainly the one that shines like a beacon at the moment.

“The team has proven over the last six months that the competitiveness of the team, the results, the focus, the energy, the people, the staff, it's what you need to be a championship contender.

“At Tasman this year we've had some good results but we've probably struggled from being a two-car team. But we're competing against four, and in some cases more, car teams. So for me, I'm just so excited about this opportunity and I think that it has all the ingredients to deliver, Rick, Todd or myself a championship because there is no doubt that we're all very focused on it, we get on quite well and we race hard. 



“I think it is going to be a good season next year.”
