Whilst some drivers in the Australian V8 Supercar Series may have a relatively quiet time of it now the season has finished for 2004, Marcos Ambrose has a fair amount on his calendar before the 2005 season kicks off at the non-championship Australian Grand Prix round.
In his personal life, Ambrose will be getting married to his long tern partner, Sonja, in January whilst that same month he'll be donning his race suit in American as he takes part in the Rolex 24 at the Daytona International Raceway.
“I'm doing the Daytona 24 hr next year in a GTP Porsche,” Ambrose told
Crash.net Radio on his title-winning weekend at Eastern Creek. “That'll be a bit of a fun thing, we've got four Aussie mates, we're going over and we're going to have a bash and see how that goes.”
