Other notable names include 2007 FSTi champion, Barry Clark - in a Group N car, Martin Prokop, who finished third in the JRC this season, Dani Sola and Tony Jardine.

All-in-all 32 nations will be represented, including teams from Australia, Barbados, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, the USA and Zimbabwe.

A new national event which will run behind the international field on all three days has been added too, to accommodate amateur drivers from the Army, Navy and Air Force in self-prepared Land Rovers. This boost the entry from 115 to 121 in total, ten more than the event had in 2006.
