Of course Jarri is very capable of getting a podium here, but its interesting because Marcus will have to win, Mikko will be on top form and supporting his team mate by finishing 2nd to him in support of the drivers title plan that Ford have and so that only leaves one spot. Petter has always gone very well on GB, some would say its his Rally, Subaru are also fighting with Stobart Ford for 3rd and so I think this will be a titanic battle for third, maybe Petter will be fighting for 1st and so his battle will be higher up with Marcus and Mikko. No one will know until poss Sunday morning if Jarri will get another podium but it will be a tough task and he will relish the fight for sure.

I think I can do well here, says Latvala.

A definite YES that he will be on the podium again, I was at last year's GB at the Walter's Arena section of Rheola and he was spectacular, especially on the 2nd run through without his front bumper having lost that on the previous stage. Also he has competed in the British championship so he has extra knowledge of British stages. Jari for the podium.

Jari can get a podium - although he does have a tendency to put it off the road at times (as he showed in Ireland).

Kinda hurts to say as a swede but IMHO Jari is by far the strongest non-factory driver out there... But hopefully one of the very talented swedish youngsters will be considered for his seat once he's taken over Grönholm's!

Anyway, as Dafydd mentioned there are many strong candidates (especially considering Petter may actually be in decent form there) for the podium, so it should be very tough and exciting rally to watch with many drivers going all out to prove a point...

I agree with dafydd that petter and mikko can be a big help to marcus. Petter has been competitive in GB even with sub 06 which was a toy not a firing gun.

But I doubt for the consistecy of Latvala vis a vis Loeb. Latvala cana set fatest times to keep him in top 5 but not for defeating talented loeb. But of course Marcus, Petter and Mikko have all that is required to be in front of loeb in GB

there are missing other 2 drivers to help them in order to have marcus winning the title

Definitely a possibility. And I hope so too. Assuming things run as normal Loeb and Gronholm will be 1st and 2nd (either order) Hirvonen, Solberg and Latvala will be battling for third. And maybe Sordo.....
