WOW !! what a day, I have to say firstly that Mikko has been so impressive today,he was visably faster than everyone in ss1 this morning and what can you say about ss6 in darkness with rain lashing down and thick rolling fog "Thats Real Rallying",it was awesome to watch the top 5 pushing in zero visability, I remember doing stages like that on the 97 R.A.C. in the night stages in Hafren and Myherin etc in simular conditions, I think its so exciting - but then I just love the dark (driving).I am real sorry that Jarri had wiper problems in ss6,he was going so well too, I was also impressed with Stuart Jones' performance in the MSD MG S2000.I look forward to tomorrow now after some sleep later.

This is real rallying like it used to be, it's not about all out speed.

It was expected for me that Mikko was going to be fast. I didn't like him at first during 2006, but now I realized Mikko is a very tactical driver, his ability to control himself is a very good trait. He kept his consistency, but still going fast and outlast the others, the style remind me a bit of Juha and Bjorn. Mikko seem to perform very well in poor rally conditions. He won in Norway and Japan, two rallies with difficult roads. Now that Malcom let him loose, he really shows his full speed. Hopefully he will be able to match Loeb for the next season, otherwize it will be a very boring year for me.
