WRC » Loeb: Tactics not nice for the sport

I think its good that loeb is as good as he is, it raises everyones game and makes them work harder to beat him and Citroen, I think Jari Matti is just coming of age and will next year have more experience and consistency which will enable him to beat Seb more often than not. It was an exciting Rally Turkey I thought, no one can blame Ford, they were only exploiting the stupid rules that we have in WRC right now. I think the rules need to change to protect our fantastic sport from things like this. I also hope Subaru go ahead with their B team next year like Fords Stobart, that would be great for the sport too and help it grow. Its just a pitty Suzuki are still having problems.

What i would like to know is why none of you caused this uproar when the fords slowed in jordan to make Sordo sweep the road clear?? I would suggest it is because you are all Loeb fans and just didnt like him not winning. Article taken from another site.

Latvala and fellow Finn Hirvonen overhauled Sordo on the road on Saturday but deliberately slowed in the final stage to fall back and ensure they did not have the disadvantage of running first on Sunday, the longest day of the event.

The leader has the tough task of acting as roadsweeper, clearing the slippery loose gravel from the tracks to give those behind a cleaner and faster surface.
