90% of those rallies are based in Europe. It should be called the European Rally Championship.

13. What an unlucky number...

I guess FIA's map doesn't include the Americas.

I'd love to see a US rally involving Pike's Peak as a special stage!

No Monte ????

What a bloody joke. It's becoming more like F1 every year.

And they might as well call Rally GB the Welsh rally as all the stages as in Wales. No killer Kielder

I was sad that the best Rallies were absent for next year, Ok Monte is one of the Proper Rallies and its a shame thats not back, but GB and Finland should never be dropped.

Oh and Taz, now Wales no longer funds Rally GB maybe the venue will go in a different direction. If it doesnt that will be because it represents the best overall package where it is, given the rules on distance restriction. Athough I prefer classic stages in Mid rather than South Wales, stages like Penmachno, Clocaenog, Dyfnant, Bettws y Coed, Dyfi etc etc

All in all the FIA has announced some welcome changes finally. It will be good that teams can enter S2000 or WRC in different cars but still with a high spec car.

I fail to understand why WRC drop its most loved stages such as Africa and of course The Monte Calo to have a race in Russia, Indonesia or Bulgaria. They may have fans that will go and watch the races but the likes of Monte was a tested venue for many years and gave some of the most amazing rallies with its mix of snow, ice and dry tarmac.

I believe the WRC is has lost its spark. I just hope the new rules turn it around in a few years.....

I'm completely agreed with you WebberAndButtplugSucks...

And I'm very disappointed that there is no Rally Argentina on 2010 Calendar... I feel sad. I hope we can get the Bulgarian spot...

Let's watch the DAKAR only next year... It would have been a great 2010 with both rallies coming south!

How about including events that make for good rallies instead of catering to countires that fell8te the FIA the most?

No worry guys, FIA lets IRC to take over the Monte which was awesome this year. 6 hours of live tv footage, lots of snow and ice, stages in the darkness, more manufacturers than in WRC. IRC is getting better and better - live tv coverage, more action, cheaper cars...
