90% of those rallies are based in Europe. It should be called the European Rally Championship.

13. What an unlucky number...

So classic rallies have been dropped in favour of vastly inferior rallies in countries that don't follow the sport, Great idea! I wonder where they got that idea from....

I'd quite like the welsh rally to have stages in England again so that it can go back to being the British rally. I don't care how good south Wales forest stages look on TV.

Oh and the Safari rally needs to be re-instated, right now! I miss the safari...

Not only in contries with poor stages, but countries that don't sell the cars in the championship thus offering no incentive to the manufacturers.

I wish they took the 1995 season calender and all the stages and brought that back, i think there was only about 8 rounds and this must have get the costs down and therefor there was massive entry lists

As a few of you have already said, 13 is an unlucky number.

I fail to see what the WRC gains from rallying in Turkey and Greece.

However, I like the idea of longer competitive mileage, and flexibility in terms of the number of days. All we need now is to get away from central servicing and the clover leaf format and we can return to the classic RAC rally of old, travelling all over the country.
