I agree with Daffyd (as usual). JML is the most promising driver in the WRC, and the only guy who has the true pace to beat Loeb.

It's tragic to see him suffering like he has this season. I hope Malcolm doesn't replace him, he needs to stick with him.

Oh, and by the way, what the h*ll are Dave doing again ? What hell are they doing with these crappy special guests ? The hairy bikers, who ever next ?

WRC » Rally Poland: SS18 - Latvala out!

Petter Solberg sets the pace again in the short Mikolaiki SSS - but it's Jari-Matti Latvala who makes the headlines by crashing out and throwing away second.

This guy is the most promising Driver that Rallying has in the WRC.

There is an Obvious problem here that Malcolm needs to solve, its not with Latvala, its something with his notes or something, whatever the problem, it needs to be found and put right.

They cant blame Latvala, he was on the last stage and wasnt even pushing so you cant say he was hot headed and over doing it again.

Maybe he needs to have someone like Kaj Lindstrom sat with him for a few Rallies to see if a fresh pair of eyes can see what it is.

Maybe its how he makes his notes, or how they are delivered maybe. He is obviously coming unstuck. The shame is that this will now affect how he drives in Finland.

Well watched it on Dave and even Latvala thinks he doesnt deserve the place in the team anymore, i think Ford need to get him into the Stobart team and get someone in the factory team thats a bit more experienced, maybe Petter Solberg

I'm a fan of JML but that was just plain stupid. Wilson needs to hire Petter as the second driver, and drop Latvala to the Stobart team.

I think maybe Timo could sit with Jari but then again Marcus had many big crashes just like the famous one Makinien had in Argentina where the car barrel rolled over a guys head.

I just think Kaj would be a better influence on Jari. But I do have a feeling the problem is co driver related, dont be suprised to find a new co driver in the car for Finland.

I have been thinking today that Malcolm could also swallow his pride a little and consider giving Petter a Lunde livered Focus WRC08 to score BP points while still trying Jari Matti with a new co driver.

This way he will get consistent solid results and allow Jari Matti to continue to move forward and become the Best all round driver

He is still young, think back to Mikko in his Subaru days, he did the exact same thing on a super special stage. Everyone wrote him off that season but now look at him.
I believe JML will be world champion one day.
