TEAM HISTORY
Achievements:

2008 World Rally Championship with Loeb and Sordo. Won in Monte Carlo, Mexico, Argentina, Sardinia, Greece, Finland, Germany, NZ, Spain, France and Wales (all with Loeb). Won the drivers' championship with Loeb. Also clinched the manufacturers' title with 191 points.

2007 Contested the WRC with Loeb and Daniel Sordo. Won in Monte Carlo, Mexico, Portugal, Argentina, Germany, Spain, France and Ireland (all with Loeb). Won the drivers' championship with Seb. Second in the manufacturers'. Scored 183 points. Guy Frequelin stood down as team boss following the Rally GB.

2006 Sabbatical from the WRC - was involved through 'semi-privateer' efforts though. Won the drivers' championship with Sebastien Loeb and the Kronos Citroen WRT.

2005 Contested the WRC with Loeb and Francois Duval. Duval was replaced for Turkey and Greece by Carlos Sainz.
Won the Monte Carlo Rally, the Rally NZ, the Rally Italia Sardinia, the Cyprus Rally, the Rally of Turkey, the Acropolis Rally, the Rally Argentina, Rallye Deutschland, Rallye de France, Rally Catalunya, Rally Rally Australia [all with Loeb except Australia, where Duval took his debut win].
Won the Drivers' and Manufacturers' championships [scored 188 points in total].

2004 Contested the WRC with Sebastien Loeb and Carlos Sainz.
Won the Monte Carlo Rally, the Swedish Rally, the Cyprus Rally, the Rally of Turkey, the Rally of Argentina, Rallye Deutschland and Rally Australia [all with Loeb, except Argentina].
Won the Drivers' and Manufacturers' championships [scored 194 points in total].

2003 Citroen's first year in the World Rally Championship full time - perfect start with a 1-2-3 finish on the Rallye Monte Carlo, with Loeb first, Colin McRae second and Carlos Sainz third.
Also won the Rally of Turkey (Sainz), Rallye Deutschland (Loeb), and Rallye Sanremo (Loeb).
Won the Manufacturers' championship - scored 160 points in total, 15 more than nearest rivals.

2002 Citroen contest 8 of the 14 rounds in the World Rally Championship. Highlights include winning the ADAC Rallye Deutschland with Sebastien Loeb; finishing second on the Monte Carlo Rally with Loeb (only losing victory due to a technicality) and taking third on the Safari with Thomas Radstrom.

2001 Xsara T4 WRC makes its debut and Jesus Puras wins in Corsica

2000 Citroen become French Rally Champions for second year in a row. Philippe Bugalski taking victory on all seven of the Xsara T4's outings.

1999 Citroen win the French Rally Championship. Saxo kit car scores WRC wins in Corsica and Sanremo.

1997-98 Odd privateer appearances in the WRC.
