Corser told to 'take it easy'

Troy Corser has been told to rest the shoulder he injured before the final race of the 2003 World Superbike season at Magny-Cours.

The Aussie banged his shoulder when he fell on the warm-up lap for the second race in Magny-Cours. And, after experiencing pain for nearly two months, he decided to have a scan at his home in Monaco, which revealed severe inflammation of the ligaments.

The injury forced him out of last weekend's Shark X-Trem event in France and he has been told to rest over the Xmas period, which he will be spending at home in Australia.

"It was very sore after the crash. Now there is no pain, except for when I lift my arm above me head, so I will have to take it easy for a few weeks," said Troy.

The rest of the FPR team will be joining Corser in Australia mid-January for a three-day test at Phillip Island.
