Italian Superbike Champion Luca Scassa will race the final round of the World Superbike Championship in Portugal after joining DFX Corse Honda.
The Italian comes to the team in place of Ivan Silva, who in turn raced last time out in France instead of Luca Morelli. He brings decent Superbike experience with him from both the Italian and American series.
Scassa, who won this year's Italian-based CIV Superbike comfortably after winning two of the six races, will join Karl Muggeridge in the team.
Meanwhile, local rider Luis Carreira will also compete in Portimao aboard a privately-entered Benimoto prepared Suzuki.
