Hoegee: WSS in '09, WSBK in '10

Although the 2009 World Superbike grid continues to expand by the week, there is one team that won't be submitting their entry just yet after Hoegee Suzuki confirmed they will compete in Supersport next year.

The Dutch team had been linked with a graduation to the WSBK field in 2009, running at least one ex-Alstare Suzuki, but the team has told Crash.net that it is their intention to battle for the WSS title first before considering a move.

Proposed in 2010, in the meantime, Hoegee, which recently lost their title RES Software title backers, has already confirmed Barry Veneman will remain, while talks are ongoing to confirm a second rider.

Hoegee enjoyed a fairly strong 2008 season with the only full-time GSX-R600s on the grid with Veneman and Dider Van Keymuelen finishing the year in eighth and 15th respectively. Veneman recorded the team's best result of second place at Magny-Cours.
