Not that late but certainly several years later. I dont know the exact rules on this but people like Kenan went to service close to 30 age.I dont think military service is a big concern for Kenan at this stage.

Superb talent, his save from an almost certain front-end washout while leading Broc Parkes was incredible. Hopefully he can carry on his form into the WSB class.

Kenan has been almost Superstock Champ, he has been a superb support rider for Charpentier last year, and a scintillating champ this year, no doubt he will be a contender in WSBK right away from the start !

Yes, I agree with you both.^^ Nice to see someone from a country usually
not represented in motorsports doing so well!

Kenan just don't follow the path of former WSS champs like Muggeridge,
Pitt, Foret, Chambon, etc). These 'champs' did nothing in the big class.

As a Turkish biker and motorsports fan I know how difficult for Kenan to be able to compete at this level. He and his family made great sacrificies to support him . Kenan is a very talented guy who has deep passion coming from such hardship. I believe he will be a contender in superbike too.

Vicripoll, military service is compulsory in Turkey and Kenan has to go there too. I think he will easily take extension though since he is an international level professional sportsman. Football and basketball players playing aboard too get such extensions. After that they serve for a shorter duration.

if he decides to stay living outside the country would i be right in thinking that they can't make him return to do his national service

It would be nonsense to do that. He will have the right to make a very short military service (1-2 months if I am not wrong). If he rejects he can loose his citizenship. Plus Kenan is quite a patriotic guy so I dont think he will follow such a path. Btw Kenan is regularly visiting the country. He was here last month.
