I think "Careless Chucker" as he used to be known could do a job in WSBK as he seems to have found the glue that keeps him ON the bike now.
His display at Suzuka certainly impressed the top brass at Honda but I don't think he'll
ever win the championship. To quote Carl Fogarty (on Michael Rutter) "He never win anything as long as he has a hole in his ****" Harsh but fair probably.

I see a top 3 finish in the championship but as for winning it? Nah.

I think the thing that folks seem to forget is that yes the twins will have 200cc more next year but they won't be in such a high state of tune as this yearas they will be subject to the same engine regs as the fours. (which they aren't at present)
So, larger capacity, lower state of tune and subject to constant review to monitor performance "gaps". (Pity Petronas were never offered this! Then again, they aren't Italian)

You can never bet against "Bayliss-tic" Troy though with his ability to ride round problems he'll still be a threat ;)

True that 1200 is going to be way to fast. No way should Ducati get to run it. Rules were 1000cc. but when you have Italians running the show what do you expect...

What out for Sofologu(spelling?) hes going to be quick.

Very good point Chu, yes Ducati HAS got the best in electronics.

Certainly the Honda this year hasn't been able to utilise it's power advantage for much of the year as their system has had major problems all year. I think for Magny-Cours they pretty much turned it off as it was causing so many problems, JT seemed to be the most out of shape of all the main contenders and that Yamaha looked like it was on rails!

Pre-season testing could prove to be quite interesting this winter! ;)

It'll be interesting to see how KTM progress with their 1200cc twin whenever they enter the championship! ;) ;) ;)
