I sit home & watch the motorbike racing & love everything about it. The people, the excitement, & the wonderful, exhilerating efforts of all that are involved. I saw the crash and my heart went out to Craig and his family. I have watched my son race, albeit at a much lower level, and as a mother I feel for all the riders, especially the young. So many times I have seen your son race, & each time I have admired & enjoyed his brilliance. I have listened to the warm tributes to Craig, & it is obvious that he was a son of greatness, not only in his racing but as a person. I cannot imagine how mum, and the family are feeling, but for what it's worth I just wanted to say thankyou & God bless XXXXX

This lad had true talent and lit up any race in which he competed. It was obvious that he raced for pleasure first and foremost. He will be sadly missed.

I read these tributes with tears streaming down my face. I did not know Craig but I know you have lost a wonderful son, brother and partner. Such a tragic waste of a wonderful life. Treasure your memories of him and be proud of his talent and his character, he will always be with you.

God Bless x

Thanks Shel from kent, i agree with everything you say, that's why i clearly defined my statement with - ' by the public '
who am i to say what Steve should or shouldn't say to Pitty.
...regardless, it was obviously the right thing to do. well done, and God bless you for it.
it was public expectation i was talking about. but the public probably know that too. God bless the family, friends, partner, and vast fan base who are still deeply saddened and mourning.

It's so overwelming to read the speeches of the family and partner from Craig.
I hope Andrew is not feeling quilty about the accident. It's terrible and it's sad, very sad that this accident happened but Andrew couldn't helped it at all...
I hope everybody, including Andrew, but ofcourse Karin, the family and friends of Craig are going to find the strength to go on...

In memory Craig..R.I.P......Go on Andrew..

Im 59yrs old and have been a bike racing fan all my life.I have 4 boys and since he rode the Triumph for Jack Valentine, the highlight of our weekend was how "Jonesy"was going.Even on bad days he seemed to try harder than anyone else.None of us can believe what has happened. The last time I felt like this was when Sarinen died at Monza.Bike racing will never be the same.Ride on "Jonesy".
