Now why is Pitt not going to the Xerox Ducati team?? 15th to 1st in 3 laps and then holds off Rea, Veneman (who rode fantastically well IMO) and only let Brookes through on lap 20.

A great talent not being well used.

Seconded. I haven't been following world superbikes long enough to figure out why he is even in supersport in the first place? After all he was in MotoGP (briefly) only a little while ago.

If I was a mid-pack rider in SBK I would be getting very concerned about my future. With the supersport guys, the BSB and the AMA guys all looking for rides next year I'm guessing will be pretty cut-throat.

Pitt was WC in WSS a few years back - roughly 2002. He and Gary McCoy got rides with the very first Kawasaki MotoGP team in ??2003. If you think the 08 Kawasaki is a pig you should have seen that one!! The bike was a pig, Pitt and McCoy didn't get results so Olivier Jacque and Shinya Nakano got a berth leaving Pitt and Cp looking elsewhere. Kawasaki has a history of blaming th eriders rather than looking at the bike!!
A partial year with Ilmor (05) till it went bust and then into WSB on a Yamaha. He was dumped by Yamaha for Corser without even any notice (so it's claimed anyway) and now he's leading the WSS again. The circle has been completed. Ironical really.

Damn I heard he had a hard run but I didn't know it stank that much. Maybe Yamaha will want him back (lol) now that Haga and Corser might be escaping to other teams.
