WHAT A MESS for SUZUKI UK
THEY DISCOVER THIS RIDER AND LOST HIM
IT S USUAL FOR SUZUKI JAPAN , holding a KAGAYAMA and not taking SYKES or another as
HASLAM or CRUTCHCLOW next to the young german MAX.

I'm glad for Sykes, but will anyone outside of 'Uddersfield understand him...lol?

I can't believe all these folks saying about him staying BSB for another year, he has got a brilliant opportunity to go to the world stage and show what he is about.

Same for Johnny Rea, he's proved his worth in BSB on the fireblade and shows he can ride a superbike, i rather think Rea is the best British prospect in WSB next year, but i wish all the british lads luck next year.

In regards to Haslam, i don't think he can cut it on the world stage, BSB is his level and should shape his career in Britain instead, cos when you look back at Haslam, he has ridden all the best bikes, but still not won BSB.

Yes Mike, but it could have been a lot more - that team has under achieved in relation to its budget in both series.

HM Plant Honda is a bit suspect in the team management stakes? Funny Its exactly the same management that won two world championships (as Castrol Honda) and British championships with Kio.

Corser is the consumate WSB pro. of his 6 offs at Donington, he was riding the knackers off the bike in conditions more suited to a jet ski, I was there when he binned it on the wet superpole, last corner, on a hot, hot, lap all he got was respect, clapped all the way back from his short walk to the pit lane. You name it he has ridden it from Aprilia through to Jap 4s, being teamed up with a 2 time WSB champion, would do Tom Sykes no harm at all, the mentoring he would get would go way beyond bike set up

Ian - I hope Ellison rides for Rizla Suzuki next year. I think he's got the talent and Valentine has the management skills which could make a good partnership. HM Plant Honda is a bit suspect in the team management stakes judging by their past record in comparison with their budget. I hope Ellison and the other Brits don't take rubbish WSB rides, but stay in BSB unless they get top rides like Sykes.

If Corser isn't Sykes team mate next season (and I hope he is) then Sykes will be somewhere smelly without a paddle! What other good development riders have we got? Andrew Pitt is keen to move up from Supersport, but probably will get offerred Sofuoglus superbike seat - besides after his past treatment from Yamaha has said he wouldn't return if it was offerred. Greg Lavilla might be available and I think would do an honest job although he has said he thinks he might not be racing next year - a waste of his talents in my view.

What a peculiar comment and strange sentiment Greensleaves regarding Corser! Why would anyone want him to struggle? Yes he's coming to the end of his career, but what a career - Aus superbike champion, AMA superbike champ (I think at his first attempt) same year does wild cards in WSB and wins, sets outright lap records (faster even than the GP bikes of Doohan and Schwantz) - all that by the time he was Haslams age. Then two WSB championships on different makes of bike with different tyres. Would have been three time champ if he hadn't broken a rib in warmup at Sugo. Mr Superpole. Develops the POS underpowered Foggy Petronas to a superpole winning bike. His dev skills are legendary!

nice to see the chinster getting a break, but who will be his team mate??? i do hope its not corser staying, because if nitro goes then corser will be the main-man in the team, i want be able to handle that, i need to see him struggle and end his race days at bmw. only on the deck 6 times at donnington - not bad for a so called good development rider (not)

I can''t help but thinking that Leon Haslam and Shakey Byrne are being forgotten in the rush to get to WSB--wrongly in my view. These racers are worthy of top WSB rides and both could challenge at the highest level. Sure, get Sykes and Crutchlow up there but let''s keep supporting these multiple race winners too!
