The key thing for Johnathan Rea tho (at least the way it was presented at the time he signed) was that he was more or less assured a place in Hannspree''s WSB line up for 2009 if he did well and learnt the tracks in this season.

For someone of Cal''s calibre to go to ''second rank'' outfit in WSS might not be such a smart career move.

I''m *very* sure he has the skills to hack it in WSS.
But without a first class bike he could be limited, then drop into obscurity.

Did anyone notice that Leon Haslam is not being mentioned in connection with any world supersport or superbike rides!

It was mentioned on here that Leon(h) might be going to Sterilgarda, if it's true it's typical his luck, just as the fours appear to be overhauling the ducs he gets a duc ride. Either way he's beating everyone whose being talked about in BSB 'cept shakey who incidently hasn't won for several meetings(Haslam has won most of them)... Haslam deserves a top ride in WSBK.. no question (akthough would like to see him win BSB...
Don't get Cal even concidering WSS, he's 30 points back of haslam so far from proved at BSB and WSS does not guarantee a move to the big boys even with a good season, people have seen what happened with Kenan S....
