EXCELLENT! :) :) :)

With Troy Bayliss retiring from Xerox Ducati I reckon the other Ducati''s will have a job
keeping up with Shakey! He knows the bike well and it suits his style.

Good on ya Shakey!

P.S. Christ! BSB''s gonna be empty at this rate! :-o

Good to see him in WSBK. The bike is decent enough but whether or not he''ll be a front runner is yet to be seen. Hope he does well, he deserves to.

Nice one !,this is brilliant news.He deserves to be in WSBK and it makes a lot of sense for Shakey to stay on a Duke.Bayliss recently commented there was not a world of difference between his bike and the Sterilgarda machines.I reckon he''ll go really well there.

Well done to Shakey! Loads of Brits to watch next year in WSBK and if a few yanks (Spies) and maybe Brookes and Pitt move over as well that would be great, a true World Championship! Just need Moody, Ryder and Mamola to transfer to WSBK from MotoGP on Eurosport and it will be superb.

I miss Whitham on WSB, been a pain in the **** having him on BSB. Love the commentary and banter between him and Burnacle (even if the latter is getting a bit Murray-a-like in terms of the amount of mistakes he makes when on the mic)

Good luck Shakey!

Although BSB is looking short of 'named' riders, havent we been here before? It will continue to be a spectical and a new crop of riders will come through and try to bash their way to the top, after all it is supposed to be a feeder championship to WSBK.

BSB may look a little thin next year, but its reputation must be sky high now - Lavilla, Kiyonari, Byrne, Rea, Hill, Sykes, Haslam, Crutchlow.... Any aspiring rider, British or otherwise, should really be considering BSB now??

Yeah Jeff G, I guess it will but it's just so odd to see SO MANY leave all at the same time. Especially basically all the top guys. Byrne, Crutchlow, Sykes, Haslam.
Although by the sounds of it Greg Lavilla looks set to step back down to BSB with Airwaves Yamaha...

Congrats Shakey. It's a one year deal so maybe he could replace Fabrizio at Xerox in 2010.
Haga Xerox, Spies Yamaha Italia, Hofmann or Rolfo at Aprilia - hopefully Hofmann. WSB is gonna be great next year!
