WSBK » WSS: Pitt takes title after Rea elimination

the people knocking Paul 46 obviously didn't see the Eurosport coverage. It has nothing to do with nationality - Pitt was a moaning minnie on the coverage - accusing Laverty of riding beyond himself, suggesting that Rea would be celebrating with laverty etc etc. He even managed to inject some negativity into his win interview.

He wasn't taken out two weeks ago - he took himself out. Moaning by Pitt aside, I'm glad he won and he deserved it - he was the best over the season and fully deserved the championship.

Pitt deserves the championship, but he's lost my respect after the whining comments in the pre-race interview on Eurosport. He basically threw all the toys out of the pram and i think i saw a dummy follow them too.

To suggest that Rea and Laverty planned it is a bit daft, seen as Pitt took Eugene out. He also sounded very bitter about Rea getting Sofu's place in the Superbike team, making out that there's some cosy relationship between him and the Ten Kate's. Nothing to do with the clause in Rea's contract then?

Anyway, roll on next season for the battle royale between Pitt and Sofu!

what planet is maheadabear on? (or Smithy or Mark S)can't you read ? at no time did Paul46 slag anyone off, just expressed his view that it was a shame Pitty said what he said. Pitt rode an awesome race as he has done all season,undisputable, but, he didn't need to go on like he did in the Eurosport interview, it certainly didn't win him any fans. As for maheadabears comment, (I think his name should be maheadupabears****) what has Paul46s comments on Pitt got to do with liking Rossi?.(last time I looked Rossi is MotoGp WC and Pitt WSS WC ?
At the end of the day Pitt was naive and childish in saying what he did.
BTW.I am a Stoner fan but can still recognise that ever riders is talented!

as for cant stand to see anyone else win, did you bother to read the comments before posting your drivel? i said that i thought the WSS was probably the hardest fought of all the championships making the winner very deserved... i also said i was quite a fan, and still am of Pitt but that it was shame to see him say what he said. I wasn't even disagreeing with his opinion, as it is an opinion and he knows more what is going on within the team than anyone here but that kind of discussion is not for on camera to millions of viewers.
