Not sure whether Yukio's in a position to question the bikes performance considering his own..... I like the guy alot, even talked with him on the odd occasion when in bsb, but he's been a big underperformer in wsb for me. My heart says go Yukio!, my brain says give the bike to someone who wants it more. I hope Suzuki listen though, we don't want another sinking, kawasaki-esque, ship. :)

that''s what we''re talking about! Suzuki goes down but maybe they''ve worked on the new GSX-R K9 so much???? Yamaha''ll bring new R1 with their big-bang, Aprolia new strong V4 and Suzuki??? I wish Kagayama and Neurkirchner best bike in ''09 otherwise Suzuki''ll sink like Michelin in racing.

They won't sink because they've got a new model for next season. Road bike wise it's supposed to be a big step forward and addresses some of the areas Suzuki were behind Honda and Yamaha such as swing arm length, centre of gravity and engine weght. I think the first poster may be right - Suzuki Japana have been concentrating on next seasons model.

Suzuki just need to snaffle the guys from the AMA Yoshimura team. They seem to know a thing or two about making crazy fast bikes. Build the bike and they'll get the riders.

If I had a ride in WSBK, I would never, ever say anything bad about the team or the bike in public. I might say things like "we're trying to make the bike better" or "we're really working hard to improve the bike" but I'd never give the bosses a reason to dislike me. Why risk your paycheck.

On the other hand, I remember John Hopkins kicking his 990 Suzuki GP bike after it broke down mid-race in Qatar. That was awesome.
