There has to be a point when the names are taken off the truck... No one has forgotten Jonesey, not by a long shot. But theres no point in reminding the riders who are still there what can and does happen. If I was there i'd want to remember Craig in my own time, not when i'm about to race.

Shame next years Brit riders aren''t riding for their new teams with BSB out of the way, would have been nice to see Byrne/Haslam/Sykes etc having a run out!!! Best of look to Rea!!

Haslam is having a run out with HM Plant, as is Cal Crutchlow. Tommy Bridewell has funded a wildcard entry on Ollie's old bike.

I'm sure it would be lovely to see them riding, but Sterilgada and Yamaha Italia still have riders under contract and Stiggy don't even have a superbike dialled yet. They'll get plenty of testing time, starting on Monday at Portimao.

The coverage at crash.net, the parkalgar-honda site and on worldsbk.com leaves a bitter aftertaste for me because noone speaks about Craig Jones anymore.

When we visited the races at Magny- Coursa his name was already erased from the Parkalgar truck, no lap of honour as said before in the Parkalgar news and even Flamini does not want to talk about that topic any longer.

Business as usual, enjoy and have a nice day and don't think about the past...

Pretty poor.

From what i remember there was going to be some kind of tribute at Portimao, as it is the home round of Parkalgar.

The team, sport and other riders will have to move on, Jonesey will never be an easy bloke or rider to forget and I don't for one minute think that is the case at all. He will always be remembered, like other riders who have unfortunately lost their life, but as Joe said it will be in their own time. I'm sure everyone has paid their respects in their own way to him and I think he is having a corner named after him at Portimao, which I think is always a great tribute to any rider. Hopefully its the corner we see the most sideways action and tyre smoke from :) nothing more fitting!

I do not want to tell anyone what he has to do.

But it had been said after Brands that there would be a lap of honour at each round until Portimao- and they did not.

And for the names on the truck- when Juergen Oelschläger, a german racer, died in 2004 just at the weekend he signed a new contract they kept his name on their trucks for the whole season he would have been racing their bike- and this is the minimum level of respect I expect from a racing team.

And what Parkalgar did is a shame- only my personal opinion.

Sure the races are the main topic and surely live goes on. But I don't like when people do not do what they said before.

I guess people have differant views on it...If it was me I wouldn't want my name on the truck if I wasn't there... makes it awkward for other people. I think it's good to name the corner after Craig and the lap of honour by Tommy Hill( probably one of his best mates) on his bike was great. But one at every round I wouldn't like myself.

The most difficult and technical turn at Portimao will be named after CJ also a permanent plaque/memorial will be unveiled by CJ's family.
